Politeness In Marriage

We have a friend who never shies from asking kind of blunt questions. The other day he said, “Hey, on a scale of 1 to 10, how polite are the two you in your marriage?”

Do I have to share my number?

That is a pretty interesting question.

But when you really think about it, we often don’t use our social graces in our marriage where we need them most.

Well, and especially when you’re tired or hungry. You know.

Late at night for me is a bad time to be nice.

Right. It sure is. I’m glad you’re aware of that.

But friend, think about that in your own marriage. Don’t let common curtsey pass. Treat your spouse the way you want to be treated…with a good measure of politeness.
