Getting The Help You Need, When You Need It

You know, we never had pre-marriage counseling, but we did spend our first year of marriage in counseling.

Yes, we sure did. We were so thankful to have the help we needed when we needed it.

It was amazing that a little bit of objective help could cut some new grooves into our relationship and help us establish some healthy patterns we probably wouldn’t of had otherwise.

I look back on that and think what a life saver, because it did help us establish ways of relating that were healthy for the two of us together.

Well, friend we just want to encourage you. Especially if you’re in the beginning stages of marriage, to get some help if you need it. An objective counselor or a friendly pastor could do a lot to cut positive grooves into your relationship that’ll last a lifetime.
