Well, we took our little guy, John, to the first grade this week.
We sure did and the first day of first grade can be a little intimidating. As I was preparing Johnny for that, I was telling him what happened to my own father. On his first day of school he couldn’t find his teacher, he couldn’t find his line and he just walked home. Didn’t know who to ask and he just showed up at home that first day in the middle of the school day.
Because he was afraid and didn’t know how to ask for help. I think sometimes as couples we find ourselves in the same predicament, not asking for help. And that’s why were so excited about this thing called marriage mentoring. Where you take a seasoned, experience couple that can invest in you. Friend, that might be just what you’re looking for. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
