Good News: Airline CEO Gives Up Seat


Once in awhile, an airline employee does something that goes above and beyond the call of duty to help a customer. But it’s probably safe to assume that none of those employees were the CEO of the airline. But it was the CEO in the case of the mother of a 12-year-old with type 1 diabetes earlier this month.  Richard Anderson, Delta’s CEO, gave up his seat on an oversold flight, making it possible for Jessie to pick her daughter up from a summer camp for diabetic kids.  Read more about Jessie’s flight for her daughter here.
