Mother's Day Contest

Why is your mom or mom-figure your unsung hero? Tell us about her by posting an audio recording through the Shine.FM app! When you do, you’ll be entered into a drawing for an Unsung Hero package including a gift card for dinner, Unsung Hero merch for you and mom, and four tickets to see the new movie Unsung Hero, based on the story of KING & COUNTRY’s family. Special thanks to Curb Records for providing the prize! There are special instructions to follow below – please read them carefully! You have until the end of the day to post your message on May 8^th, and on the 9th a winner will be randomly selected from all the entries and notified by text message at 9:00 A.M. CT/10:00 A.M. EST. This contest is also subject to all Shine.FM contest rules found here: https://www.shine.fm/shine-contest-rules. Only one entry allowed per person.  

NOTE: Your recording will be posted publicly on the app’s wall, so do not share any information that is private. We also may use your audio recording on the air. 

1. Download the Shine.FM app if you haven’t already! 
2. Open the app, and clip on the paper clip next to the message box. Choose “Record Audio.”  
3. Click “RECORD” and share your message in under 30 seconds and click “STOP” when you are finished speaking. 
4. Click “SAVE” and then type "My Unsung Hero” and submit.  
5. Click the gear icon in the corner and click “Message the station.”  
6. Send us a text with your name and what time you sent your message, so we can identify your message in the event that you win! If you do not do this step, we do not have a way to contact you properly.

The contest may also be entered by calling the Shine.FM Listener comment line (855-987-9866) and leaving a voicemail about why your mom is your unsung hero. Please include name and call back number.
