Supporting the body of Christ
In China and India, pastors are imprisoned and churches are burned to the ground. In the Muslim world, Christian worship takes place behind a veil of secrecy and fear.
Meanwhile, across much of our planet, extreme poverty turns necessities, like Bibles and discipleship materials, into impossible dreams.
Faced with such obstacles, it would be easy for Christians in those nations to lose heart. Yet their churches are flourishing, in part because they have a champion. They have an advocate. They have Bible League International.
We support the body of Christ wherever it is impoverished, persecuted or oppressed in more than 55 countries. With help from friends like you, we equip local Christians to plant Bibles, plant churches and share God’s love in the hardest, most hostile, most resource-poor places on earth.
More than survive
Today that commitment is needed more than ever. At no time in history have Christians been so persecuted, and poverty been so widespread. Yet these nations have no shortage of men and women prepared to put their lives on the line to expand the Kingdom of God. The only thing they are missing is the one thing we are able to give: resources.
Prepared with the right training, equipped with the proper tools, and carrying their own Bibles, there is no barrier these leaders cannot overcome. With our help and your support, they guide their churches into a future where the body of Christ does more than survive. It thrives.
The poorest, most difficult nations on earth
In the past 21 years alone, we have trained and equipped more than 2.5 million local Christians to lead millions of hearts to Christ, plant more than 58,000 churches, and disciple nearly 37 million people in or through Bible study. All in the poorest, most difficult nations on earth.
