The little scholar. I know those two words mean something to you.
They absolutely do. They describe one of my prized possessions. It’s a statue of a little boy reading a book, and it’s on my mantle. Every time I see it, I think about your love and support.
Well, I gave that to you when you finished your dissertation a number of years ago, and I remember taking you out to dinner and had it delivered to the table as a little surprise. I think having something tangible really is valuable to remember accomplishments.
You’re right. Because symbols sometimes speak volumes to us. They take us back to a point or memory and remind us of the love we have for each other.
Friend. Think about that in your own relationship. What things to do you have in your home that symbolize the milestones in your marriage?
